Robert and Torie were off traveling again.  This time they were aboard the Azamara Quest cruising the Adriatic Sea and visiting locations in Italy and the Balkans.  Here's their report.

2012 Italy Lifestyle Cruise review by Robert & Torie

What an amazing adventure! We just got back from a week-long full lifestyle takeover cruise aboard the Azamara Quest, one of the most luxurious and service-oriented cruise ships afloat. The ship made stops in Italy, Croatia and Montenegro, with each port being more beautiful than the last.

We cannot say enough about this ship, the service, the food and the activities.  It made every other cruise experience we have had pale in comparison.

We flew into Venice, Italy and took a water taxi literally to the front door of the host hotel, the historic Hilton Molino Stucky.  A meet and greet was held in its breathtaking lobby and we had a great time seeing so many of Dream Pleasure Tours clients there.

The next day we boarded the ship and were met by our cabin attendant who could not have been friendlier or more attentive. In addition to ensuring we had everything we needed, he brought us a fresh fruit plate every morning and little chocolate delicacies every night. The food, at every single meal, was delectable! From the buffet breakfasts, to burgers at the pool grill, to the elegant, sit-down dinners in the elegantly appointed dining room, everything was a culinary experience.

Regardless of whether we were visiting one of the breathtaking and historic ports, or enjoying the activities on board the ship, we were consistently impressed, entertained and pampered.

We mixed and mingled at the sail-away party, a welcome reception, meet and greets, pool parties, barbecues, sexy seminars and still had lots of time to soak up the European sunshine au naturel out on the deck, while listening to great music.

Each night was a different theme, and did the lifestylers on the ship ever do it up right! The first night was a Masquerade Ball, and you should have seen the clothing, the costumes and the masks! Carnivale has never seen the likes of this group! On other nights, we all dressed for Passionate Pink night, White night, Animal Magnetism night, Naughty Nighties night, and Formal Night (and, wow, does this group ever clean up well!).

To round out each night (or welcome in each morning!), the nightclub was hopping until 3am and the “Sin Room”, as they called the group playroom, was rockin’ until 4am!

One of the really nice things this cruise offered (which was so convenient for the late nighters) was a late arrival into the ports and a late departure. For most ports we arrived in the afternoon and were docked for a full 24 hours. Over the seven days, we were treated to the beauty and history of Venice, Italy; Hvar, Croatia; Kotor, Montenegro; Dubrovik, Croatia and Trieste, Italy.  We experienced first hand the most amazing and breathtaking cathedrals, fortresses, palaces, walled cities, monasteries, castles, ruins and, of course, the unique and unbelievable city that is Venice, complete with St. Marks Square, the Doge’s Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, the Rialto Bridge and, naturally, lots and lots of gelato!

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we found this cruise to be one that was immensely beyond all expectations and definitely one not to missed in the future.
