What do you call yourself?  Dream Pleasure Tours customers are open minded people. Some call themselves nudists, some just call themselves open minded and others say they are in the lifestyle.  Who are people in the lifestyle?  The dictionary says that lifestyle is “the habits, attitudes, tastes, moral standards, economic level, etc., that together constitute the mode of living of an individual or group.”  The Urban Dictionary defines the word lifestyle as “The name that swingers use to describe their culture. A couple can be in the lifestyle by attending events and becoming familiar with what goes on. They do not have to participate in the swapping and group sex that occurs there. Those that do participate are said to be active.”

The term lifestyle has been in use for many years in reference to people with a certain open attitude towards sexuality, and may include voyeurs, exhibitionists, swingers and other people who enjoy interacting with other sexually open minded people.  These people are sometimes referred to as lifestylers.  There are many businesses that cater to lifestylers or people in the lifestyle, including online communities, clubs, party organizers, and of course, travel agencies.  We are one of those agencies.

So we want your opinion? Do you think the word lifestyle is owned by one company?  Do you think that only one company should be able to say things like 1) We sell lifestyle travel, 2) Our group tours are for people in the lifestyle or 3) we represent a number of lifestyle friendly resort?  Or should anyone who sells travel to people in the lifestyle be allowed to use the words “lifestyle" to describe their products?  Should only one company be allowed to call their product lifestyle vacations, or is it a generic product name like gay travel, Christian travel, or bird watchers travel?  Let us know.  Click here to take a very brief survey on the words “lifestyle” and forward the link to your friends and people you know in the lifestyle.  We’d like as many opinions as we can get. Our name is Dream Pleasure Tours.  We are proud of that name, and we have spent a lot of time and money building Dream Pleasure Tours into one of the leading brands in the business. Our business is now, and has always been, since we founded the business, the business of selling lifestyle, nudists and clothing optional tours, vacations, and travel.  That’s not our name.  That’s what we sell.  That’s our product. 

By the way, we don’t intend to stop calling our vacations vacations for people in the lifestyle or travel for people in the lifestyle. That’s what they are.  And that is what the community of people who are in the lifestyle have been calling them for twenty or thirty years. 

Remember, our name is Dream Pleasure Tours. The word “lifestyle” is not in our name.  We just specialize in selling vacations and travel to people in the lifestyle.
