At some point in time, someone suggested that Dream Pleasure Tours should have its own video. The idea was to create something that could be played at events, parties and clubs, and that would be distinct and really exemplify the whole Dream Pleasure Tours experience. Always up for a challenge, we embarked on a year-long project to produce just such a video.

Our first version had great shots of all the resorts and cruises we represent, with nice pictures on beaches, and buildings, and rooms, and boats, and restaurants, with lots of palm trees. Then someone pointed out to us that the video looked more like someone’s boring vacation slide show than a video designed to capture the spirit of a Dream Pleasure Tours vacation. It was missing energy and excitement. It also didn’t capture the sensuality of a Dream Pleasure Tours vacation. And we realized why. There weren’t any people in our video!! Just buildings, and beaches and boats and palm trees.
So we hunted around and found pictures with people, and we added the pictures with people to the pictures of the building and beaches and palm trees. This version was better, but people who viewed it still didn’t think it captured the essence of a Dream Pleasure Tours vacation. Then we decided to get professional help. After all, our head office is only minutes from Hollywood, and you have to figure there are thousands of Hollywood people who know how to produce videos. However, we soon discovered that those people who make videos for MTV cost a lot more money than a little old travel agency can afford.
Then we found SPiiCY.com. SPiiCY is a Los Angeles based boutique design firm specializing in erotic graphics and photography. SPiiCY really seemed to grasp what we were looking for. At their request, we put out an appeal to many of our friends and partners in the lifestyle travel industry, and those friends came back to us with great pictures and video that we could include in our video. SPiiCY took the images we were able to get, added an upbeat soundtrack, and put the whole thing together in a montage of visual excitement that is a treat for both the eyes and the ears. You’ll be tapping your fingers and feet, bobbing your head, and wishing you were on a Dream Pleasure Tours vacation!
