We lost a member of our lifestyle family this week.  Bruce Kinnee or as some people affectionately called him "Mr Dixie" passed away on Monday, March 4th, 2013 after a terminal illness. He was 67 years old.  Active in the lifestyle for many years, Bruce met a lady he could really look up to, both figuratively and literally, when he met the tall, blonde statuesque Dixie. Bruce and Dixie married and have been a fixture in the lifestyle community for many, many years. Bruce was a Navy veteran and businessman who over a decade ago assisted with the Lifestyles Organization in California. Later, he and Dixie moved to Florida forming the corporation South Florida Splash, LLC which hosts the lifestyle Splash Parties.  Bruce was tech-savvy and loved working behind the scenes on websites and programming. We send our love and support to his wife, Dixie, and their families.

I first met Bruce at one of Robert McGinley's lifestyle conventions.  Bruce and I were having a drink, and I made what I thought was a helpful suggestion.  Bruce responded intensely, making it clear he didn’t want me sticking my nose into what he felt was his business!  Afterwards he apologized, hoping he had not come across too strong.  On the contrary, I appreciated his candor, honesty and passion.  In a time when people work at being whom they are not, Bruce refreshingly was Bruce.  We will miss him. - Mike  

I have great memories of late night drinks with Bruce in Las Vegas for the many Lifestyle Conventions. Plus I enjoyed one hell of a great trip to Hedonism II for the Super Clubs Awards dinner. My love to Dixie.....Bruce, We will all miss you!! - Gary

Brother Bruce was a friend from Plato's Retreat to lifestyle conventions to Splash Parties.  Bruce helped me with lifestyle events to private parties. He was a very dear person to Cindy & I both. We are greatly saddened at the passing of Bruce (Mr. Dixie.)  He was truly a lifestyle icon and pioneer.  We certainly extend to Dixie our sympathies and know that she and all her staff and friends will carry on with her awesome Splash Parties.  Dixie and Bruce were wonderful mentors to us as we established TampaBayEscapes National Lifestyles Conventions.  We learned a great deal from them and appreciate every word of advice and encouragement they offered us over the last 6 or 7 years.  Although we have sold TBE this past year we continue to enjoy all our friends and associates.  The new owners, Doc and Cindy of Stymphalians Clubs, will carry on the tradition of fun we started 4 years ago.  All our best Dixie..and we know your upcoming Splash will be amazing in your beautiful new Fort Lauderdale hotel setting.  Affectionately, Bob & Cyndi  (TBE's 1, 2, 3 & 4)
